Get Connected
The Navigators at Kansas State have many different ways of getting involved with the ministry from large group meetings to personal discipleship. We encourage you to read our section about who we are as the Navigators so that you can get a feel for the ministry and what we believe. Below we will outline the different ways you can get connected here at Kansas State.
Large Group Meetings
Large Group Meeting happen in Weber Hall Room 123 Every Thursday at 8:30. We hope to see you there!
Large group meetings happen every Thursday night. These meetings consist of the whole navigator group gathering for worship; we start of with praise music and prayer followed by a large group speaker who will bring a message which leads into a small group discussion time. The discussion time is used to help process the information that is presented in order to better apply Gods word into our lives. The worship night is then finished up with some more praise music and prayer.
Small Group Bible Studies
There are many small group Bible studies to get involved with. These studies meet on a weekly basis and discuss a variety of spiritual topics, including a study of a specific book within the Bible.
Freshman Connection
Freshman Connection is our ministry dedicated to first year students. This ministry will help you build lasting friendships with other freshman and build up your spiritual life through various inputs. The freshman connection group first meets as a large group meeting consisting of all freshman interested, followed by small group Bible Studies. These small groups are matched up with an upperclass leader who will be there to give you personal direction and guidance.
Personal Discipleship
This is often a product of one of the other connection methods, but if you are seeking to meet with someone one on one in order to investigate Scripture or to seek God, we encourage you to ask one of the leaders or to find somebody who you may know that is seeking God. The first core value of the Navigators is “The passion to know, love, and become like Jesus Christ.” We want to see everyone following after Christ and becoming like Him.
